Development Initiatives

Mercury Level is currently working on development initiatives that will soon be sold as services or be used for improving the way we do business on the web. These initiatives include a Store Locator and Product Showcases for manufacturers, a Services Directory for companies and individuals who wish to find success in advertising, and Graphs built using Adobe's SVG graphics engine coupled with PHP.

Store Locator

The Store Locator was originally built to house Retailer information for manufacturers. But the limits do not stop there. This locator can be used to list regional or local sales force personnel, Phone based businesses that require state by state categorization, or just a simple directory for individuals or companies with a common thread in the market place.

Some features can include

• Customers can Search by State using US Map
• Customers can Search by State using Drop Down Menu
• Customers can Search by Area Code
• Customers can Search by Zip Code with Radius limits
• Store display can be limited by results per page
• Store Listings can include Phone, Fax, Toll Free numbers
• Store Listings can include Thumbnail images or Web Links to Store Specific sites
• Email adresses to Stores and Owners can be used for B2B communications

Product Showcases

This project has a large base of interested customers in several industries including fashion clothing, jewelry, health and beauty aids, toys, outdoor equipment, and electronics. Service providers who use an array of vendor products also find the Product Showcase useful to display products they would normally carry in-store or in a catalog.

• The ability to Categorize products
• Display limited product information
• The option of showing product pricing (Retail and/or Wholesale)
• Upload product images, including Thumbnails and Larger View photos

This is the perfect solution for the business or manufacturer that does not wish to sell online but would like to showcase their catalog of products. Google Checkout can also be integrated into the Product Showcase for an Ad-Hoc e-commerce solution.

Service Directories

Developing a services directory provides some businesses an alternative means to create income and site traffic. Creating a Services Directory for a specific industry gives potential customers the ability to quickly locate a particular type of business or service provider. SVG Graphics with PHP

In one of our previous projects, we had been tasked to create new dynamically changing graphs based on imported data and input from a customer form.
